Melissa Nelson
Melissa Nelson, the heart and soul behind A Queen’s Legacy, is a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment. Born in the DC metropolitan area, Melissa was deeply involved in youth groups and leadership roles from a young age. It was during her freshman year of college, however, that her life took a significant turn — becoming a single parent at the age of 21 ignited a journey of self-discovery that would shape her future.
This personal experience sparked a desire to help other women discover their own purpose and empower them to fulfill their potential. With over 20 years of experience working with women and youth in various settings — including churches, shelters, schools, and youth camps — Melissa is driven by her mission to help young girls find their inner Queen.
Melissa is also a published author, wife, and mother, fully dedicated to leaving a legacy of empowerment for the next generation of women.
